Joseph Addelman is one of the founding partners of the criminal law firm Addelman Baum Gilbert LLP in Ottawa. Joe completed his B.A.(Honours) at Concordia University, where he graduated cum laud and was named to the Dean’s List. Joe went on to obtain his LL.B. from Osgoode Hall Law School. Joe completed his articles in Toronto with a prominent criminal defence firm and was called to the bar in 2005. Afterwards, Joe studied in England at University College, London, where he obtained his LL.M in International Human Rights Law. Joe returned to Ottawa to practice criminal law with his father Richard in 2006. Since that time Joe has practiced exclusively criminal defence law in Ottawa and Eastern Ontario. Through his hard work and dedication to his clients, Joe has developed a reputation for excellence in all aspects of criminal litigation. Joe is passionate about his work and strives to obtain the best possible results for his clients. When Joe is not in a courtroom, you may find him skiing on deep powder or riding his mountain bike.
